A gentle space to find wellness and healing through art

Hello!

Welcome to my website that showcases my art and my therapeutic art services. I’m so glad you’re here and that you’ve stumbled on my little spot in the world.

Who am I? I am an intuitive mixed media artist who creates whimsy, colorful art inspired by nature and everyday life. I am also a facilitator of healing art sessions that allow a gentle space of healing through emotional processing and release, specifically grief. I am a mother, sister, daughter, and friend. I am a lover of community, the Earth, music, whimsy designs, and rich, bold COLOR. I LOVE connecting with people, my community, and nature. I would love to hear from you, so please send me a message!

If you would like to read more about me and the incidents in life that brought me to my passion and calling of facilitating healing through art, please read my healing art story. My artist statement and resume can be found here: https://www.artfullyhealing.com/myartiststatementandresume

Mission Statement:

To support and facilitate emotional healing, empowerment, and self-discovery through creative expression for those living with grief, fear, emotional pain, or stress.

 Vision Statement:

To have an open, shared space within the community, locally and globally, that encourages vulnerability and emotional healing through art. With this shared space a healing balm through creative expression, self-love, and self-care allows for a higher level of consciousness for each of us through deeper, authentic connections through healing arts.

Through creative expression, we can find healing and self-discovery. Healing art sessions utilize various modalities and mixed-media art that facilitates growth, personal empowerment, and healing through creative expression. Through creative expression, we will connect with ourselves, nature, and each other which allows for us to expand, feel empowered and inspired, and allows for growth and healing to occur. My Healing Art Journey

Intuitive art that honors the space of grief and healing.

Above is a video showing my healing art session transmuting my grief of losing my mom. You can watch this canvas come to life through my intuitive art process, the healing art tools I use. and the modalities that can be used in the healing art sessions I give.

The canvas is called, “Rooted in Love,” and was created to honor my mom and my connections with her.

The images and footage were captured over several sessions by my dear friend, Alyson Rorem of Jasper & Fern who then created this video showing my process.

For more information about the different therapeutic healing art sessions I offer click here: Healing Art Services

Healing grief through art and ceremony. When my brother died my world was shattered and my grief was unbearable. Through ceremony and healing art, I was able to release my grief and find wellness through art. This healing art release lasted a few years. Photos were taken at each ceremony during 2010-2013 and then again in 2019.

Trigger warning: These images are from the night my mother passed. They may be too difficult for some people to view.

Sacred transitional ceremony for my mom the night she passed using art, nature, ceremony, and ritual. Art is such a powerful tool for healing. To honor her and my deep connection with her, I used art and ceremony to start my grief process and healing on November 18, 2019

Photos of my ceremony were taken by Alyson Rorem, Jasper & Fern
